It’s taken a fair bit of work but I think this could well be my favourite kit to date! Image laden review goodness inside.

The Murasame is all but complete, I just need to apply some topcoat & decals as well as paint it’s 4 wing-mounted missiles which is going to be the real sod.
Very happy with this build though, it’s required more work than any kit i’ve ever built and because of that it’s been way more rewarding [...]

This is looking better and better, roll on September!

No, i’m not giving up the hobby! As the basement room / mancave / whatever you want to call it takes shape i’ve moved all my completed kits down there where they can be displayed with pride!

To tide me over until MG Red Frame completes it’s journey from the land of the rising sun, i’ve decided to work on this awesome and underappreciated kit – the Murasame. Time to tear open the box and have a nosey inside!

My first (complete) build since returning from Japan is Amuros Ray’s signature unit. Modelled after the 1/1 Odaiba Gundam it’s an awesome little HG Kit!

Oh man, I cannot wait for this kit, going right to the top of the build list, roll on the 25th! I did opt for SAL postage though so that could well end up being the 25th of August :S

It feels like forever since my last HGUC build, and what better a kit to get back into old habits with.
Modelled on the 1/1 Odaiba Gundam, this 30th anniversary special edition of the classic mobile suit looks like an awesome update of a classic design. First impressions herein.

Every year I push my suitcase to the absolute limit on the way home from Japan, filling every available bit of space with awesomeness from the land of the rising sun. This year I think I did particularly well!

In preparation of lots of Gundam building over the coming year, i’ve spruced up the ‘Current Gunplas’ widget on the sidebar to something alot more visual at a glance, comments welcome! Will be writing a 2009 stash post later today.

Lots and lots of walking in Southern Higashiyama today and a meeting with the Hotel staff for final wedding details!

Instead of wasting posts blabbing on about the various projects i’ve got on I thought i’d consolidate it into one!
